Sun in my mouth

Description

"I will wade out
Till my thighs are steeped
In burning flowers
I will take the sun in my mouth
And leap into the ripe air
Alive with closed eyes
To dash against darkness

In the sleeping curves of my body
Shall enter fingers
Of smooth mastery
With chasteness of sea-girls
Will I complete the mystery
Of my flesh
Will I complete the mystery
Of my flesh
My flesh"

Lyrics of the song "Sun in my mouth" by Björk, written by E. Cummings.

Sun In My Mouth is a thoughtful composition that has an endless capacity to inspire. I find that through the use of texture, and the pairing of orange with various shades of blues, Mario really helps to draw the user into a surreal dreamscape. This is what we've come to expect from him as an artist.

I will admit, that one of the weaknesses in this piece from my perspective, is that the "cloud" doesn't blend well with the background image towards the bottom of the piece. It feels as though there were nothing to pair the two elements together... It's just not organic enough... This could be rectified fairly easily though, and this is just my opinion.

As usual, a job well done. <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" title=":) (Smile)" />
